Hello, I'm davedude0, am 14 years old and have played minecraft since beta 1.6.  I can safely say I know plenty about the game beyond playing it - I am using mcp to look at the source code and plan on making my own mods soon too. I speak two languages - English, an amount of French. I also know several different coding languages - HTML, CSS, PHP with MySQL, Python and I'm starting to learn Java.

I have been playing on the server for (what I think is) a fairly long time - I first joined after finding the pack on Wikipedia... I soon got to know Yannic and he gave me the 'Post-Officer' rank after me living in the admin bunker for a while. I have been told the Post-Officer rank is around the same level as moderator, so I decided to go for the Admin rank and be able to serve the server a lot more! I know Shade and Blade well too, and Shade especially has been asking after me posting this...

I have had a fair bit of experience as a server admin, and have been admin on two other servers before now. Both were via the regular minecaft forums, and I would give you a link if I could. On both of those servers I had helped a huge amount and people were always telling me how nice I was towards everyone. On one server I asked a few people that I knew well, the owner and some regular members included, about their guesses at my age (which I hadn't said in the application or on the server.) They came back with ages from around 16-22*, and were quite surprised after I said I was 13 (at the time).
I also know plenty about running a server, how hard it is and most of the essentials, worldedit and voxelsniper commands

I always try to help where I can, and like doing so - at the moment I've only got a rudimentary base but still offer advice to who ask. DNS is definitely my favourite modpack, even if it is fairly unstable, and offers so many opportunities to both have a great experience, and also have a bad one - 200+ mods really does confuse some people, so I want to make sure that everyone that comes on the server has a great experience and fully enjoys playing in our great community.

One of the things I hate about not having enough power is griefing - if I hear about a grief even at the rank I am I ask to go look at it and see if I can help in the short term, and tell an admin/higher as soon as they are on. I'd definitely like the power to both restore order and to reprimand those who decide to breach the rules.

This was well written and I liked it.
You seem to know quite a few things about mods and servers, programming in general.
You also know the players and staff on the server well as far as I can tell.
I can't say too much about you though, since I've only known you and everyone (except drakkillen) on the server
for a few days. But I feel I can trust in you being a good admin.

Uhm, well, where do I start? In any case, beware: rather long review coming in.

First of all, I was rather surprised when you wrote down that your age is 14 years; I would've expected you to be at least as old or older than I am (no offence). You are, behaviour-wise, fairly adult for your age, which is very appreciated for an admin to be.

Your experience with Minecraft could be useful, I generally don't consider this to be very important, because for the most part it could be useful to help people who don't know the game very well; anyone could.

However, your experience with coding languages will proof to be useful when reading crash logs and (help) tracing what caused it. Reading crash logs may not be your main duty, but it is always useful!

It is also good to see that you've got some experience being an admin on other servers, it can always come in handy.

Also, you are a social person (beware that you shouldn't have others abuse that!), which is about one of the most important things there is.

Although, out of your application, it doesn't seem very clear how your experience is with the moderating commands on our server (/jail, /tempban, /prism, etc.), so in case you're not that experienced with them, I would suggest learning them. They are rather easy to learn, so I'm not really worried about it.

So in the end, your application is good, well detailed and goes to the point. I would, however, recommend using many blank lines; it makes it easier to read.

Hmm ok i see lots of people reply here, so i see your appreciated as both person yourself, and wanted as Admin, even ShadezX wants you as Admin, and as i told you long time ago, that i will try getting you Admin if i can, but we have two problems here actually. Let me list them:

1: We got already three Administrators, so IF you get Admin, you probably be the last, unless someone quits, cause Head-Admin, Co-Owner and Owner are persistent positions, unless drak gives up the server, i or Kalle probably will take over as Owner and payer for the server. I dont expect, nor do i hope it to happen, but everyone grows up and gets older, but till then, i hope everyone stays

2: I feel that, as Co-Owner, i have taken alot of job from drak, having him to take care of absolutely everything, and giving him some free time, as he has been away often in the past, cause (i hope ) he knows, he can rely on me, mananging the server, but as thats said, i feel, that i control things over drak, i dont really know, if he likes having more Admins all the time, new Staff and so, i mean its his server, and i take decisions, even as Co-Owner its my job to hire people, but i dont know if he likes it or not. So before we continue on this, i first ask drak.
